ISHPSSB 2025 · Porto, Portugal · 21 July 2025

International Society for the History, Philosophy, and Social Studies of Biology, biennial meeting

A 90-minute session built as a transdisciplinary "trialogue" across three worlds that rarely share a room: academic studies of scientific practice, applied agricultural biology, and decentralized science infrastructure. Its aims were both critical, on the ethics and technics of protocol use, and constructive, on what protocol design could become in other digital formats. Co-chaired with Hans-Jörg Rheinberger (MPIWG), run as a Diverse Format Session as part of the PHIL_OS project, and entered for the Interdisciplinary Organized Session Prize.
